We are delighted to announce that the Extra Care Scheme in Welton, delivered by R G Carter, won Residential Project of the Year at the 2025 Greater Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards. Held at the Hilton Lincoln, R G Carter were also proud to be the hard hat sponsor for the event.
The three-storey Assisted Living Scheme located in the north east of Lincoln, provides 62 one and two-person apartments, providing enabled independence within a comfortable housing environment. The scheme also has 10 semi-detached two and three-person Specialist Supported Accommodation Bungalows, all of which have been delivered for client LACE Housing and designed by https://www.saundersboston.co.uk/
The building and its bungalows also has communal spaces including a games room, book room, lounge area and a café/ restaurant, open to the public, all helping to create a feeling of community and social integration for residents.
