Background

R G Carter is looking for an Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. The successful applicant will begin studies on a Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery. This initial qualification is delivered at a local college one day a week.

If you have an interest in carpentry and a genuine passion to work in the built environment and have a desire to deliver the best for themselves and our customers. You will work alongside and learn from qualified craftspeople to develop your trade skills and knowledge of site-based activities.

Experience

  • Maths and English e.g. GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, Functional Skills, or ESFA-approved equivalents*
  • Level 2 course starts September, Course Length is 2 Years
  • 1 day a week day release
  • Applicants must be 16 or over
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and meet the Education and Skill funding Agency residency status
