To the call of ‘5,4,3,2,1…SHOP!’, three teams took part in a Christmas Trolley Dash to support local Trussell Trust Foodbanks across three Tesco stores in Norwich, Cambridge and Chelmsford. View our fun film to see all the action:

Donned in festive hats, T shirts and tinsel, teams dashed around the stores to collect £500 worth of items from a list supplied by the Foodbanks, in the fastest time. Thank you to the representatives from the three local Foodbanks who adjudicated, refereed, timed and advised on the most economical and practical purchases, and to Tesco for supporting the event.
It was a tight race with the team from our Drayton office winning at the Blue Boar Norwich Tesco Store, with a time of just 28 minutes and 4 seconds, at a total of £499.72.
It was wonderful to see all the goods being packed into the Foodbank cars and vans, ready to help support families and individuals in need this Christmas. A Merry Christmas to all the volunteers that help at the Foodbanks and do such an amazing job to help support local people in crisis.
