Saffron Housing Trust celebrated another step closer to the completion of their new 58-home development Swallowtail Place, with a topping out ceremony hosted by the R G Carter team.

In true construction tradition, beer was poured on the roof marking its completion and that fact it is now watertight, allowing the focus to turn to internal features. Representatives from Saffron Trust, Norfolk County Council and Norse attended to join in with the celebrations.

At this new independent community living-plus scheme in Acle, NorseCare will provide on-site care and support, 24/7 for its residents. The scheme for the over-55s, will include one and two-bedroom self-contained flats and communal areas, providing much needed homes in the local area and a wonderful place to live; designed to create a sense of community and reduce social isolation.
