A new 420 place primary school for Cambridgeshire County Council, on land at Buxhall Farm at Histon, is now starting to take shape.
The team are currently installing the steel framing system and external cement board for the two storey building. The installation of the Kalzip roof is making great progress and preparation for the installation of the concrete stairs continues.
The new school will provide 14 classrooms, a main and small hall, library, staff administrative areas and a kitchen. The plans are to relocate the local infant school to the new Buxhall Farm site, converting into a primary school in the process and taking in children aged 4 to 11.
