A site tour yesterday at the new Ipswich based archive centre The Hold, gave stakeholders a glimpse into how this unique heritage facility will store, and enable the community to enjoy, the 900 years of Suffolk archives.
Led by Concertus Design and Property Consultants Limited, visitors viewed and heard more about the benefits of this space, and were able to see the new state of the art, airtight archive room in progress.
Visitors included attendees from Suffolk County Council, the University of Suffolk, Concertus, LEP, Coastal Communities Fund and the local council.
