Waitrose Refurbishment,
St Ives, Cambridgeshire

The refurbishment and refrigeration upgrade project at Waitrose St Ives was completed within the 7 week programme, with much of the work undertaken while the store was closed overnight.

The project included interior work, such as the flooring repairs throughout, installation of new refrigerated cases, along with a complete ceiling replacement of the low level ceiling and the installation of a new cavity barrier. Key areas, including the partner facilities, were also fully refurbished.

Other internal works includes:

• Expansion of an external opening for future store upgrades
• Installation of a new sushi area
• Refurbishment of the meat & fish and cheese & deli counters
• New cold rooms for enhanced storage
• Updated sales floor signage and fresh decorative finishes throughout the store
• Installation of a new air door
• Checkout alterations

External improvements comprised of new signage, decorations to all elevations and repairs where necessary.
