Trowse Primary School, Norwich
With the expansion of Trowse village and new housing in the surrounding area, a new primary school was needed to cater for the rise in the number of children.
Completed in summer 2020, the new school accommodates 200 children in a state of the art building which includes an assembly hall, seven classrooms, a new multi-purpose hall and a nursery.
A new multi-use games area (MUGA) and grass playing fields were also part of the new development.
The middle of the project coincided with the outbreak of Covid-19 so RG Carter had to adapt working practices and logistics accordingly. Despite several delays the project was completed on programme and on budget.
