Primark, Bradford

Former Debenhams Store in the Broadway Shopping Centre, Bradford, has been refurbished and fitted out for Primark offering customers’ favourites across fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle and homeware items.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Primark moved from a smaller store in the Kirkgate Centre where it has stood for 18 years, to Broadway Shopping Centre, which required a full refurbishment and refit by the R G Carter team in just 12 weeks.

The works included full mechanical, electrical & sprinkler installations, as well as new staff areas, flooring, decorations, shelving, tills & signage. The new 40,000 sq. ft two-floor store, offers customers a brighter, more modern interior, including LED lighting, updated fixtures and fittings, 16 self-checkouts and 24 fitting rooms including family and accessible options.

This was R G Carter’s second fit out for Primark since the delivery of the Norwich store in 2019.
