At Benwick Primary School, the team are well underway with the construction of a new teaching facility, to help provide extra space for this ever-growing Fenland community.

The new one-storey block is located behind the existing original school building, first opened in 1900, where they currently have five classes. The new facility will provide an extra two large classrooms which will have a significant impact on space. Here you can see the completed zinc roof of the new block, with the main school building behind.

Procured under the Cambridgeshire County Council Design & Build Contractor Framework for the provision of Design & Build Services, the works are targeting completion for December, ready for the pupils and staff to begin using at the start of the new year.
