The new performing arts centre at Perse school has now been officially named Peter Hall Performing Arts Centre, after the late internationally acclaimed director Sir Peter Hall. The centre was opened by his wife Nicola on Thursday 8th March.
Constructed by R G Carter, the new 370-seater facility will greatly enhance the campus and provide increased opportunities for the students in creative arts. The centre will also hold lectures, exhibitions and assemblies.
Head Ed Elliott said: “We are delighted that Peter Hall’s example will live on at The Perse in the name of our new performing arts centre. The Peter Hall Performing Arts Centre will offer Perse pupils multiple opportunities for fun learning through drama, music, dance, debating and exhibitions.”
