At the historic Lowestoft Post Office, our Building Solutions team are getting ready to start the restoration work to bring the façades back to their former glory.
Focus over the last couple of weeks has been getting the site set up and scaffolding erected, to allow the specialist stonework repairs and cleaning to start and the rebuild of the sash windows by the team’s skilled carpenters.
Here they can be seen in front of the new graphics from East Suffolk Council which outline the history of the building and a glimpse into this high street in the 1880’s, when the Post Office was built.
