We are delighted to have handed over the new Café Extension and Teaching Space for Leeds Arts University, procured via the YorBuild Medium Works Framework YORhub, where these amazing and creative new spaces are already in use.
Located in front of the University on a busy main road in Leeds City Centre, and on a live, fully operational university campus, meant careful and logistical planning was key to keeping disruption to a minimum and to ensure students, staff and the general public were safe at all times.
The project included a new two-storey extension with an expanded café space, classrooms and large studio space above, reached via a series of bridge walkways across a striking double-height lightwell and green roof.
Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering these first class teaching facilities.
