The striking double height entrance for the new Diagnostic Assessment Centre (DAC) being built at the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Great Yarmouth, is now complete, the external landscaping also now laid and ready for use.

The brickwork columns create the key focal point for visitors to the centre and are sitting in front of what is one of the few glazed areas of the building, due to the nature of the internal medical scanning functions.

Inside on the ground floor the final decoration, flooring, and ceilings are being completed, ready for the NHS fit-out which will require the installation of large, complex equipment such as CT and MRI scanners and X Ray facilities. The DAC is due to open later this summer.
