Students from the College of West Anglia were recently given a tour of the new office and commercial buildings being constructed on the Nar Ouse development in King’s Lynn. The students gained an overview of the area’s interesting past, building construction methods used and health and safety processes. Carter Design Group also provided insight into the design solutions used to overcome the very challenging ground conditions on the site.
Lyanne Clayton, Workplace and Careers Co-ordinator for CoWA, commented “Thank you very much for having us visit your site on Tuesday, it was so good for the students to see all they are learning in practice”.
The R G Carter team, along with CDG are looking forward to continuing to provide support to the local college through site tours, ‘guest lectures’ and demonstrations.
