We are delighted to have been appointed as the main contractor for the new SEND School at Fakenham in Norfolk. To celebrate, on a very chilly and foggy day, the first sod was cut by Director Alex Mackay, representing R G Carter, and Lawrence Chapman, CEO of SENDAT (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Academies Trust), sponsors of the school.
The school will provide a modern specialist learning environment for up to 100 children and young people, aged between 5 and 16, with autism and complex communication and interaction needs. This will be SENDAT’s first school in Norfolk and is part of Norfolk County Council’s ambitious plans to transform special educational needs education in the county.
