After just over two years at the picturesque location on Orwell Quay in Ipswich, we have now completed the cladding refurbishment project across Phases 1 and 2, ensuring that all 222 homes on this development now meet the correct fire safety standards of certification.
The first homes in the front in Anchor and Patteson blocks completed at the end of ‘23, with this 2nd Phase of the final 99 homes now revealing the newly stripped and upgraded façades, as seen left from Haven Marina. All of the blocks had rain-screen cladding and terracotta tiles removed and replaced, and the once timber cladding, replaced with a composite alternative.
The project has required a steady and methodical process, and its success is a testament to the positive engagement with residents living in the apartments throughout these live works.
