It was like a scene from a fairy tale at Peckover Primary School, where guests including the Mayor of Wisbech, marked the official opening of the newly built pre-school.
Guests were treated to a morning of magical surprises with the arrival an ugly sister, wicked stepmother and fairy godmother. Cinderella arrived on a carriage pulled by donkeys to cut the ribbon to officially declare the pre-school open.
Other guests at the ceremony included the Mayor of Wisbech, Councillor Michael Hill, staff and governors from the school, the county council and the estates director from the Brooke Weston Trust. R G Carter was represented by Paul Hutchinson, Ashley Else, Will McConnell and Stuart Williamson.
Carrie Norman, principal of Peckover Primary said: “A massive thank you to R G Carters, it was such a pleasure having you on-site. The building is incredible.”
