At Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Remembrance Day, we joined members of the The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust to hold reflective prayers and a moment of silence at 11am, to honour and pay respects to all those that have given their lives in conflict to protect our communities.
Our team working at the hospital, proudly donated time and materials to construct a purpose built new paved memorial area in time for this ceremony, located in front of the new Diagnostic Assessment Centre, recently delivered.
This dedicated space is now home to the ‘Lest We Forget Soldier’, a commemorative bench and the hospital’s flagpole, where a special flag was raised during the remembrance ceremony.
