A ceremony was recently held celebrating progress works at the Construction Centre at Oaklands College. The event included a tour of the site for key dignitaries and a presentation from the Principal of the College outlining how the building will be a model for teaching and learning for the construction trades; a stand-out facility in the Hertfordshire area.
All of the guests that attended signed the back of an acoustic panel, to commemorate the event, which will be erected to the ceiling. Our team were pleased to join representatives from the College, the Mayor of St Albans, High Sheriff of Hertfordshire Annie Brewster, local councillors, Fusion and other local businesses.
A further positive to celebrate was that the Construction Centre has been short-listed for the Property and Construction Project of the Year at Inspiring Herts.
