R G Carter continue to perform well on the complex refurbishment and extension scheme at Burwell Village College Primary School, which was secured as part of the current Cambridgeshire County Council LGSS Framework.
With three separate blocks being worked on simultaneously (located throughout the live school campus), the team have successfully handed over the first of six phases of work to the school with great feedback from the stakeholders.
Whilst alterations to the existing hall will be made later in the project, the refurbished kitchen and front extension to the administration block (A) have been handed back to the Client ready for use after the February half term.
Collectively, the team are performing well on this challenging, live site and continue to receive praise from the Client for their efforts. In the school’s most recent newsletter, Business Manager Sandy Cater has praised R G Carter for the quality of the new administration block and kitchen.
