Carol Vorderman, media personality and Royal Air Force Cadets ambassador officially opened the brand new Aviation Academy in Norwich on Saturday 5th August 2017.

The Aviation Academy project marks the latest chapter in a long-association relationship between R G Carter and Norwich International Airport. This latest project has been brought into being by a core group of founding partners, including KLM UK Engineering, Norwich International Airport, Aviation Skills Partnership, City College Norwich, University of East Anglia, New Anglia LEP, Norwich City Council, Norfolk County Council and Broadland District Council.

Grant Keys, Regional Director for R G Carter, commented “It has been a privilege for R G Carter to have been involved in delivering the vision of the Aviation Academy and we are delighted it is already creating exciting new training and employment opportunities for young people across the region and beyond.”
