Bird's eye view of Herne Bay crematorium

At Herne Bay in Kent, R G Carter are currently working on the new crematorium for Westerleigh Group. The facility is progressing well and was captured from up high in this wonderful drone image, showing the huge 14 acre expanse of the land it is being built on.

At the front of the image you can see the main access route into the crematorium, back left is car parking and back right, the construction of the 98-seat chapel, waiting room, and crematory, where over a third of the brickwork has now been completed.

Large and smaller ponds can also be seen; built for drainage they will form part of attractive memorial garden and landscaping to provide a tranquil environment for visitors.
