Transhipping Warehouse and Vehicle Repair Building

Our project team commenced work at Welch’s Transport back in January 2014. The works comprised to design and construction of two new industrial buildings containing a commercial vehicles sales and servicing centre with a lorry wash, a warehouse with store, crane hire and workshop, a separate lorry wash and extensive service yard spanning 16,000sqm, fuelling point and associated parking for lorries and cars.

The first industrial unit is for warehouse use and is used as a transhipping warehouse and the other industrial unit is intended to be used for vehicle maintenance. The vehicle repair unit included construction of a showroom, external works including yard area, drainage and service connections.
Both buildings were constructed using traditional foundations, steel frame, metal roof and wall cladding and aluminium windows.
