At Tesco in Great Dunmow, R G Carter Projects have been working on a new 1000sqm extension to increase the size of the store and its range of goods.
As the extension project draws to an end, and as part of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, the team from R G Carter undertook a community initiative with its local school; the parents and pupils having watched the progress of the project on their journey to and from school each day.
Members from R G Carter Projects, along staff from the Tesco store, met with pupils from Great Dunmow Primary School, from the aptly named Cherry class, to plant a selection of cherry trees within the schools own orchard. A wonderful project to be part of and leave a sustainable legacy for the environment.
