Located in the heart of the city, our Building Solutions team are now on site at Ely Museum, undertaking an exciting new refurbishment and extension scheme. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and others, the project aims to rejuvenate the museum to create improved display spaces, and better visitor facilities.
The project includes internal structural remodelling, repairs and refurbishment of the Grade II listed Old Gaol building and single storey extension, as well as alterations to the single storey extension to form a two storey section with passenger lift. Existing services throughout the building will also be replaced with new installations.
The site is located in the heart of the city off Market Street and works are due to conclude next summer.
