The new children’s hospice, The Nook, was proudly handed over to East Anglia’s Children’s Hopices ( EACH), at the end of summer, ahead of opening for care this month.
After five years of fundraising, more than 200 children, young people and family members have now had a first glimpse of this new purpose built hospice, located on a 5 acre woodland site at Framlingham Earl in Norfolk. These wonderful modern facilities will now enable EACH to provide even better, more accessible care to families; the building includes a hydrotherapy pool, a sensory room, family rooms and a large open plan care area, all on a single floor. However, there is still £800,000 left to find to ensure the building is fully fitted out.
