R G Carter started on site of the Jack Hunt School in Netherton, Peterborough in November for Peterborough City Council.
The extension consists of a two storey building with the first floor providing 12 new classrooms and the ground floor providing a commercial kitchen and dining hall area.
The team have to date, completed the drainage and steel frame remedials which were erected by the previous contractor, the single-ply roof membrane, concrete floor slab and the liquid screed on the first floor.
The mechanical and electrical first fix has now commenced and the bricklayers are due to begin.
