Background

R G Carter is looking for a Business Administrator to provide administration support within our small team at the
R G Carter Training Academy. This is a full-time onsite office position.

The ideal candidate is to have a strong work ethic with a positive “can do” attitude and good organisational skills and the ability to work within a team and independently once fully trained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with email enquiries in a prompt & efficient manner
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Electronic filing and scanning
  • Assist with training course bookings
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Learning about constructions training requirements
  • Issuing training certificates
  • Run reports from our learning management system
  • Chasing providers for course attendance information
  • Facilitating the evaluations of online courses by sending surveys for delegates to complete following their training

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic computer skills on Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage large volume of emails.
  • Good organisation skills
  • Know how to prioritise workload
  • Full training will be given. You will work toward completion of a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship the duration of this is one and half years. Upon completion and based on consistent performance we will look to offer a permanent position.
