R G Carter has completed a new extension for Burwell Village College Primary School in Cambridge which was officially opened on Saturday 16th September. Many of the classrooms had deteriorated into a poor state and were in need of replacing.
The extension work involved four key areas of the school including a new main entrance, six classrooms, a new library, landscaping to form external teaching spaces and general refurbishment work.
Nicholas Smith, Headteacher at Burwell Village College Primary School, said:
“This is a massive investment, which will enable the school to provide first-class education to the local community for the foreseeable future. I would like to thank R G Carter and all its staff and subcontractors for delivering an outstanding project.”
The project was undertaken within the live school campus and continues to receive praise from the Client for the teams efforts.
