Two teams from R G Carter bravely ran the Chariots of Fire relay race in Cambridge last weekend, to raise charitable donations for Magpas Air Ambulance. Well done to everyone that braved the torrential
rain! Not ideal running conditions but everyone pushed through with a smile to the end.

The route started and finished on the Queens’ Green, and follows a 1.7 mile route through the city centre and Cambridge University’s colleges. Each person completes one loop before handing over the baton to their next runner. One team ran the route in 1hr 10 minutes, the second in 1hr 39 minutes. A great run by all for a wonderful cause.

Every day, the Magpas Air Ambulance team saves lives across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and the East of England 24/7. Read more about the amazing service they provide: https://magpas.org.uk/
