Continuing our longstanding relationship with the National Trust, our Building Solutions team has been delivering a variety of minor works covering both restoration and repair.
At Wimpole Hall in Cambridge, the team have been installing reclaimed York stone bases for bench seats, placed along path ways with open views of the estate and the hall. At Wimpole Home Farm, gate posts which had given away leaving the cattle and Shire working horses without a display paddock, have been replaced. Oak posts were sourced and crafted to repeat the existing details to the top of each post.
At Lode Mill at Anglesey Abbey we have also been busy supporting the full clean of this working flour mill and next month at the Abbey’s garden centre next month, creating new paths and fencing.
